Artworks/Illustrations

These artworks have been created in the woodcut printmaking technique. The images were originally photos which I turned into high contrast drawings, transferred onto a woodblock that was then carved to create the woodcut. I hand printed the woodcuts (much like a stamp) onto paper. Woodcuts are designed to be made into multiples which makes them easy to reproduce.
